Job summary

EIT Electronic Instrumentation & Technology in Salem, NH is seeking a Configuration Control Specialist to maintain and control QMS documentation within an EMS environment. The role distributes controlled documents, maintains records, and supports NPI by creating visual aids and work instructions for PCA and Box Build areas.

You will update product routings in the MES and collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Program Management to drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of related experience.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience in a Document Control or regulated manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience in an electronics manufacturing or EMS environment is a plus.
• Strong PC skills with attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the maintenance of the Quality Management System and all pertinent documentation.
• Distribute controlled documents, including prints and specifications, to appropriate departments.
• File, scan, and maintain accurate records in accordance with document control procedures.
• Maintain MSDS/SDS files and documentation.
• Perform general administrative duties related to the Document Control function.
• Develop and maintain visual aids and work instructions for PCA and Box Build manufacturing areas.
• Develop and update product routings within the MES.
• Work with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Program Management to provide NPI support.
• Revise and update visual aids and work instructions based on trials, reviews, and feedback.
