Job summary

American Rheinmetall Vehicles is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the Quality Department, coordinate quality objectives, and ensure products meet standards. You will work with production and engineering to drive continuous improvement and compliance with AS9100/ISO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, management, or business.
• Minimum eight years in quality assurance engineering or management.
• At least five years of supervisory/management experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.
• ASQ CQE or CQM certification preferred.
• Aerospace/defense quality experience preferred.
• Lean/Six Sigma experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain quality objectives aligned with corporate goals.
• Interpret quality standards and communicate expectations across the organization.
• Monitor KPIs to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Manage CAPA processes.
• Develop standards for inspection, testing, and evaluation.
• Oversee inspection, analysis, design, and testing for compliance and quality.
• Review design docs and supplier quality manuals for adherence to requirements.
• Represent the company during customer visits and audits, onsite and at customer locations.
• Review quality data for consistency with standards and compliance.
• Keep management informed of significant quality issues and actions.
• Lead and support quality staff in inspection and testing activities.
• Maintain knowledge of AS9100 and ISO quality codes.
• Deliver quality training programs in coordination with managers.
• Utilize PLEX to manage quality processes.
