Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of AS9100D/IATF16949/ISO9001 standards
• Knowledge of APQP and AS9145
• Knowledge of systems-based design and related standards/processes
• Technical analysis using statistical tools and process capability
• Root cause analysis using 8D, 5 Why, and Ishikawa
• Strong continuous improvement track record and implementation experience
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to present to clients and internal stakeholders
• Familiarity with US DoD processes for vehicle development
• Hands-on attitude with ability to work independently and collaboratively

Responsibilities

• Lead APQP Development for assigned programs and related processes
• Oversee manufacturing readiness and conformity of documentation
• Coordinate and chair APQP meetings and track action items
• Develop test methods and support product validation activities
• Perform validation testing to meet customer specs and report results
• Act as quality lead in customer program reviews during development
• Implement programs to improve quality of products and processes
• Inspect materials, components, and finished products for quality and reliability
• Collaborate with design, R&D, production and suppliers for continuous improvement
• Support supplier PPAP submissions and occasional on-site supplier visits
