Job summary

American Rheinmetall in Michigan is seeking a Quality Manager to plan, coordinate, and direct the company’s quality program, ensuring products meet standards and customer expectations. This role partners with production, engineering, and customers to drive improvements.

You will lead the Quality Department, manage CAPA, and maintain AS9100/ISO compliance, while reporting to the VP of Quality. Prior experience in aerospace or defense quality is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, management, or business.
• Eight years in quality assurance engineering or management.
• Five years in supervisory roles.
• Experience with AS9100 and ISO quality codes is preferred.
• Lean/Six Sigma experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and direct all aspects of the quality program.
• Oversee CAPA processes and drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee inspection, testing, and quality assurance activities.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and customers to support continuous improvement.
• Present quality metrics to management and lead audits.
