Job summary

BayCare Health System's Winter Haven Hospital is seeking a Quality Data Coordinator to join our on-site team. This full-time role operates 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday–Friday, with standard healthcare data responsibilities across medical records and reporting.

The successful candidate will verify data accuracy, coordinate medical record reviews with a multidisciplinary team, and ensure timeliness and compliance with health information standards.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in medical records on-site.
• Strong data analysis and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate medical record review with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Distribute results for recommendations and actions.
• Verify accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of health information.
• Understand, analyze, collect, and interpret data.
• Serve as liaison with external reporting agencies (ACHA, Life Link).

Quality Data Coordinator Position Details:

• Status: Full Time (non-exempt)
• Shift: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (may vary)
• Days: Monday – Friday

The Quality Data Coordinator will work on-site on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

• The Quality Data Coordinator - Medical Records coordinates medical record review with a multi-disciplinary team and distributes results for recommendations/actions.
• Responsible to ensure quality of medical record health information by verifying the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness
• Demonstrates strong skills in understanding, analyzing, collecting, and interpreting data.
• Responsible to the Health Information Management Committee/Medical Staff Services for Medical Staff compliance for timeliness, completion, and on-going medical record activity.
• Serves as a liaison with external reporting agencies i.e. ACHA and Life Link.
