Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Memphis is seeking a Part-Time Quality Coordinator (RN) in Memphis, TN. The role supports the hospital quality program, with an 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. schedule on Tue/Wed/Thu, 3 days per week.

Compensation ranges from $37.40 to $56.57 per hour, with a focus on accreditation, QAPI, and patient-centered care. Ideal candidates have RN licensure and a background in LTACH or short-term acute care, plus experience in quality improvement or survey readiness.

Qualifications

  • RN with valid state licensure.
  • Minimum 2 years LTACH/acute care preferred.
  • Experience in quality improvement, risk management, infection control, or survey readiness preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with survey activities to maintain accreditation, certification and licensure.
  • Assist with monthly interdisciplinary QAPI team meetings.
  • Assist with reviews of quarterly quality improvement reports.
  • Assist Medical Director and Quality Program Director with development and implementation of medical staff quality improvement activities.
  • Perform all safety and EOC duties.
  • Perform monthly safety rounds and quality control surveillance.
  • Complete monthly quality related data entry, analysis and reporting.
  • Assist with employee training and education in the workplace.
  • Work with leadership to ensure reporting requirements are met.

Using discretion and independent judgment, the Quality Coordinator is responsible for assisting the DQM with all aspects of the hospital quality program.

  • Assisting with survey activities to ensure that the facility maintains accreditation, certification and licensure.
  • Assisting with monthly interdisciplinary QAPI team meetings.
  • Assisting with reviews of quarterly quality improvement reports.
  • Assisting the Medical Director and Quality Program Director with development and implementation of medical staff quality improvement activities.

Minimum Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with valid state licensure
Preferred Qualifications That Will Make You Successful
  • At least two years of clinical experience in LTACH or short term acute care preferred.
  • Previous experience with one major area of responsibility preferred (quality improvement risk management, infection control, or survey readiness).
