A leading company in the cable manufacturing industry is seeking a Quality Coordinator to provide administrative support in compliance with ISO 9001:2015. The role involves managing customer returns, overseeing documentation, and participating in audits to ensure quality standards are met. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and experience in Quality Assurance.
Significant Responsibilities:
Basic Function: The primary responsibility of the Quality Coordinator is to provide administrative support to Quality in compliance with ISO 9001:2015. This position also participates, as needed, in efforts to prevent, detect, report, or correct the production of non-conforming material or product through routine audits and inspections at all production stages.
Promotes OCC’s service excellence and quality, builds strong customer relationships, and fosters team cohesiveness. Focuses on quality and positive solutions, communicates respectfully, and demonstrates compassion and understanding in customer interactions. Essential Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge: Good computer skills; ability to compile, organize, and analyze large data volumes; understanding of quality procedures; strong math and documentation skills; excellent communication skills; ability to work in a team; attention to detail; organizational and time management skills; ability to work independently.
Education and Experience: High School diploma required; advanced studies/degree in a scientific or technical field preferred; minimum of two years’ experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control or a regulated manufacturing environment.
Working Conditions: Must be able to stand, lift/move up to 35 lbs, read, see color, and communicate effectively. Moderate noise level; reasonable accommodations available for disabilities.
