Job summary

RECON is seeking a Quality Control Technician to support on-site construction operations in Questa, NM. You will assist with quality control activities, maintain project records, and coordinate with project teams to ensure safety and compliance.

The role requires strong organization and communication skills, with a preference for candidates with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience and background in geotechnical, civil, or construction environments.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience aligned with Quality Control Technician responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and technical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in project-driven construction environments.
• Experience supporting geotechnical, civil, construction, engineering, or technical operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support construction operations and project delivery activities.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineering teams, field personnel, vendors, and clients.
• Maintain documentation, reporting, schedules, and technical records.
• Support safety, quality, and compliance standards across operations.
• Identify operational improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with planning, technical support, and project execution activities.
