Job summary

Lexington Medical, Inc. is a medical device company in the Boston area, seeking a Quality Control Technician in Bedford, MA. This full-time temporary role covers 12:00pm–8:00pm on a Monday to Friday schedule, with potential to convert to a full-time employee.

You will inspect medical device components and finished products, perform dimensional and visual checks, document nonconformances, and maintain traceability while ensuring cleanroom compliance and effective communication with supervisors.

Qualifications

• Formal technical training or equivalent hands-on experience in manufacturing or inspection roles.
• Experience in lab/manufacturing/cleanroom environments.
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, comparators).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and drawings.
• Experience with data reporting and NCRs.
• Basic Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to work independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a desire to grow in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect medical device components and finished products per procedures.
• Perform dimensional and visual inspections with calipers, micrometers and comparators.
• Identify and document nonconforming materials per quality procedures.
• Maintain full traceability of products and components.
• Keep work areas clean and compliant with cleanroom and manufacturing requirements.
• Communicate quality issues and inspection findings to supervisors and departments.
