Job summary

Kelly is seeking a Quality Control Inspector for a 2nd shift position in Chelmsford, MA. The role involves verifying materials, sub-assemblies, and products to meet quality standards, plus visual and electrical testing using a range of inspection tools.

Responsibilities include documenting results, maintaining quality records, and interpreting SOPs and drawings. Candidates should have a high school diploma and 1–3 years in QC/inspection. IPC-A-610D preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years' QC or inspection experience.
• Ability to read specifications and engineering drawings.
• Experience with mechanical and electronic test equipment.
• Basic computer skills; Oracle and MES experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs; manufacturing environment capable.
• IPC-A-610D certification for Incoming Inspection preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Verify procured materials, sub-assemblies, finished products meet standards.
• Perform visual inspections, dimensional measurements, and electrical testing.
• Utilize inspection tools (vision systems, verniers, micrometers, oscilloscopes) for product conformance.
• Document inspection results per procedures.
• Maintain Device History Records and Inspection History Records.
• Process returned material per company procedures.
• Read SOPs, schematics, drawings, PDAs, and ECOs.
