Job summary

IPG Photonics’ IPG Medical division seeks a Quality Supervisor to lead QA activities and inspection processes for 2nd shift. You will review DHRs, support CAPAs, and ensure compliance with GMP and QMS practices in a medical device environment.

The role requires strong MS Word/Excel skills, ISO13485 familiarity, and ability to read drawings. On-site position in Marlborough, MA with collaboration across teams and vendors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years experience in Quality supervisor or equivalent (medical device preferred).
• Strong MS Word and Excel skills.
• Familiarity with ISO13485, ISO14644 and CFR 21-820.
• Ability to read drawings and prints.

Responsibilities

• Supervise quality inspectors on 2nd Shift to support QA activities.
• Prioritize inspection of incoming materials and First Article Inspections.
• Develop inspection and test methods with Manufacturing and Project Engineers.
• Support improvement processes including nonconformance action.
• Investigate NCMRs with proper material disposition.
