Medical Diagnostic Laboratories, L.L.C. in Hamilton, NJ, is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join the Quality Control team at our corporate office.

The role focuses on accessioning checks and analysis/verification of clinical laboratory results to ensure accuracy and patient safety. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related science, basic computer literacy, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Biology, Microbiology or related Science field.
• Basic computer literacy. LIS experience preferred.
• Must have strong attention to detail.
• Previous quality control experience preferred but not required. Familiarity with PCR, Molecular Biology, Bacteriology or Virology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform accessioning checks for all requisitions received by the clinical laboratory.
• Assess accuracy of specimen information in LIS and identify discrepancies.
• Analyze and verify clinical laboratory results (PCR, Western blot, ELISA, IFA, etc.).
• Identify samples needing repeat or additional testing to ensure accuracy.
• Communicate testing issues or pending results with lab personnel.
