Responsibilities

  • Rapportera kvalitetsproblem och säkerställa följsamhet i kvalitetsstyrningssystemet.
  • Samla in och rapportera kvalitets KPIer och kundärenden, samt underhålla processdokumentation.
  • Utbilda lokala operatörer i relevanta delar av kvalitetsstyrning och stödja förbättringsmöjligheter.
  • Arbeta onsite vid ABB:s anläggning i Pinetops, NC och samarbeta med kvalitets- och tillverkningsgrupperna.

Quality Manager

Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, you will have the opportunity toassistthe Quality team in implementing andmaintaininga quality system, including conducting audits,establishingcontrols,training ontoolsand methodologies. Each day, you will support activities related to quality management within the organizational unit. You will also showcaseyour expertiseby reporting quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and customer cases andmaintainingprocess documentation.

The work model for the role is: onsite at the Pinetops, NC facility.
You will bemainly accountablefor:

  • Reporting quality issues data, ensuring adherence to quality managementsystemat all stages.
  • Acquiringand reporting quality metrics and KPIs accurately andin a timely mannertofacilitatethe analysis and management of local processes.
  • Utilizing measurement systems to produce data that reflect theaccuratecharacteristics of materials, products, systems, and processes.
  • Training local operational teams on relevant elements of quality management, supporting implementation, and promoting opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)
  • 2+ years of working in a manufacturing environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Legal authorization to work in the US isrequired
  • Knowledge and use of tools – tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools, as needed.
  • Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed
  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs
Working conditions

Manufacturing plant environment requires a combination of hands-on and technical tasks. Work may involve occasional lifting of materials, climbing stairs/ladders, and walking. Employees maybe requiredto bend, twist, or stand for extended periods.

Frequent use of computers is necessary for data entry, monitoring, and communication. Employees will also handle a variety of tools and equipment, from hand tools to machinery, requiring technical skills and adherence to safety protocols.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed shoes, isrequiredto ensure a safe working environment. Adhering to safety guidelines is essential for all team members.

The work environment requires physical endurance, technicalproficiency, and a commitment tomaintainingsafety standards to contribute to a productive and rewarding workplace.
