Job summary

Bio-Rad in Irvine, CA is seeking a QC Technician to support testing and documentation in the Quality Control Department during manufacture and release of Bio-Rad control products. The role offers a mix of independent work and teamwork.

You will operate instruments, follow good laboratory practices, manage supplies, and record results in LIMS, collaborating with other departments to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in a science field.
• Experience in QC or a clinical laboratory is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of GDP and quality systems; LIMS experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot QC laboratory instruments.
• Follow good laboratory practices.
• Order supplies and maintain instrument preventive maintenance schedule.
• Interface with other departments when required.
• Evaluate assay runs for accuracy and acceptability to QC procedures.
• Enter results into LIMS as required.
