Job summary

Specialty Cheese Co in Reeseville, WI is seeking a Quality Control Technician for the 2nd shift (2 - 10:30 PM). You will monitor and verify daily operations, assist in lab testing, and ensure HACCP, SQF, GMPs, and SOPs are followed.

This role emphasizes food safety, documentation, and continuous improvement on the production floor. Required are a High School Diploma, strong attention to detail, and 2 years in a food manufacturing quality role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual Spanish and English preferred.
• Attendance at workshops for continual education may be required.
• 2 years’ experience in a food manufacturing facility with quality systems preferred.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GFSI/SQF, and basic safety practices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Understand and ensure compliance with HACCP, SQF, GMPs, SOPs, and SSOPs.
• Presence and awareness on the manufacturing floor and audits.
• Perform procedural audits and verify SOP/SSOP adherence.
• Monitor GMPs and ensure documentation is complete.
• Lead findings meetings to communicate non-conformances.
• Perform lab testing, calibrations, and review COAs/COCs as needed.
• Assist in HACCP program administration and training as required.
