Job summary

Johnsonville Sausage, LLC is seeking a 2nd Shift QA Supervisor in Wisconsin to oversee QA Technicians, monitor product quality, and ensure compliance with USDA-FSIS and SQF standards.

The role requires an Associate’s degree in Quality or Food Science, 3+ years of QA experience in a regulated food environment, and HACCP/SQF certifications are preferred. You will drive continuous improvement and partner with Operations to maintain safe, compliant products.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate’s degree in Quality, Food Science or related field; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Must have at least 3 years QA experience in a USDA-FSIS-regulated food manufacturing environment, preferably with ready-to-eat processed meats.
• Knowledge of Quality Systems and SQF, with experience applying root-cause problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Supervise QA Technicians on shift; manage schedules and assignments.
• Monitor quality attributes and perform statistical analyses of data.
• Ensure compliance with USDA-FSIS regulations and SQF requirements.
• Lead internal quality audits and supplier audits as needed.
• Coordinate corrective actions and preventive measures; review nonconformances.
