Job summary

Van Drunen Farms is seeking a dedicated Quality/Compliance handler for a full-time second shift at our Crown Point, Indiana facility. You will inspect materials and finished products to ensure food safety and meet customer specs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two+ years of manufacturing experience preferred in food/beverage/ingredient manufacturing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Able to read, write, and communicate in English; Spanish a plus.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and email applications.
• Problem-solving, organization, and analytical skills with commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify raw materials, packaging components, and finished products for quality and specs.
• Identify non-conforming materials and escalate with Production and Quality leadership.
• Monitor critical food safety controls and production documentation.
• Support FSMA, HACCP, traceability, and regulatory requirements through recordkeeping.
• Participate in investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
• Train production team on quality standards and documentation accuracy.
