Job Details
We are seeking a Quality Specialist to ensure product integrity, compliance with food safety regulations, and adherence to quality control standards. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining quality systems while supporting production teams in maintaining quality systems while supporting production teams in maintaining food safety and quality assurance standards.
Job Details
Monitor and enforce HACCP, FSMA, USDA, FDA, and company quality standards.
Perform routine inspections, audits, and quality checks on raw materials, in-process production, and finished product goods.
Ensure compliance with GMP and SSOPs
Assist with CAPA investigations and root causes to determine resolutions for clients.
Maintain quality documentation and conduct internal audits.
Train production teams for food safety, allergen controls, and quality assurance processes.
Job Requirements
At least 2 years of Quality Control experience, food safety, or compliance within a food manufacturing environment—meat processing experience a huge plus!
Knowledge of HACCP, SQF, GFSI, and regulatory requirements
Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
Experience With QMS Preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and food safety software preferred
