Primary Duties

  1. Execute and adhere to all EHS requirements, maintain a safe work environment, and follow safety rules including proper PPE usage.
  2. Participate in general housekeeping of plant and lab areas.
  3. Comply with company policies and procedures.
  4. Perform timely and accurate chemical, physical, and visual testing on raw materials, bulk batches, and finished goods using standard procedures.
  5. Determine raw material adjustment amounts to meet specifications.
  6. Enter test results into SAP for raw materials, bulk batches, and finished goods.
  7. Perform timely Usage Decisions (accept/reject) in SAP for raw materials, bulk batches, and finished goods.
  8. Collect and store retain samples as required.
  9. Take immediate action on internal non-conformances, create notifications in SAP, and perform initial investigations.
  10. Support customer complaint investigations by reviewing batch records and retain samples.
  11. Maintain critical equipment and inventory supplies to support QC lab operations.
  12. Review daily production schedules and prepare test equipment and reagents accordingly.
  13. Provide proper documentation and visual QC labels for materials and products.
  14. Complete and process all relevant paperwork and records.
  15. Participate in monthly meetings related to Quality, Safety, Housekeeping, and waste minimization.
  16. Communicate critical issues concerning QC test equipment and potential delays to management.
  17. Collaborate with team members and volunteer to help where needed to enhance skills.
  18. Work under the supervision of the Sr. Lab Technician, Lab Supervisor, or Facility Technical Manager.

Pay is $24.00/hr, based on factors including education, experience, certifications, and location. H.B. Fuller offers a comprehensive benefits package, incentive programs, health & wellness benefits, 401K, paid time off, and holidays. Eligibility varies.
