Primary Duties

  1. Execute and adhere to all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) requirements, maintaining a safe work environment and following internal safety rules and procedures, including wearing proper PPE as appropriate.
  2. Participate in the general housekeeping of the plant and lab areas.
  3. Comply with company policies and procedures.
  4. Perform timely and accurate chemical, physical, and visual testing on raw materials, bulk batches, and finished goods using standard test procedures.
  5. Determine raw material adjustment amounts to bulk batches to meet specifications.
  6. Enter raw material, bulk batch, and finished goods test results into SAP.
  7. Perform timely Usage Decisions (accept/reject) for raw materials, bulk batches, and finished goods in SAP.
  8. Collect and store retain samples of raw materials, bulk batches, and finished products as required.
  9. Take immediate action on internal non-conformances by creating notifications in SAP and performing initial investigations with operators.
  10. Support customer complaint investigations by reviewing batch records and retain samples.
  11. Maintain critical equipment and laboratory inventory supplies to support continuous QC lab operations.
  12. Review daily production schedules and ensure test equipment and reagents are prepared for testing scheduled batches.
  13. Provide proper documentation and visual QC labels for materials and products that are acceptable, rejected, or on-hold.
  14. Issue, complete, maintain, and process all relevant paperwork and records.
  15. Attend monthly meetings related to Quality, Safety, Housekeeping, and waste minimization.
  16. Communicate all critical issues and problems concerning QC test equipment and potential test delays to management.
  17. Be a team player, volunteering to help where needed to get the job done and to enhance skills.
  18. Work with some supervision from the Sr. Lab Technician, Lab Supervisor, or Facility Technical Manager.

Pay is based on factors including education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location. The salary for this role is $24.00/hr.
