Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Strong mathematical skills including fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions.

Responsibilities

• Perform line inspections and quality control functions to ensure products meet standards.
• Take weight checks on encapsulating/tableting machines to verify dosing.
• Inspect in-process and finished product for defects and gather samples for testing.
• Assist in sampling and releasing incoming raw materials and maintain QC hold areas.
• Maintain and organize the QC Hold Log and related records.
• Assist with investigations and monthly retests as needed.
