Job summary

Marathon Cheese Corporation in Wisconsin seeks a QA/Production Associate to support quality assurance and manufacturing operations. You will perform GMP-compliant checks, weight control, SAP documentation, and environmental sampling, with training provided. Shifts include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd with weekend hours and differential pay.

Core Hours
1st Shift: Monday thru Friday, 6:45 am to 2:45 pm. *Saturday hours are generally 6:45 am to 12:45 pm.

Core Hours
1st Shift: Monday thru Friday, 6:45 am to 2:45 pm. *Saturday hours are generally 6:45 am to 12:45 pm.
2nd Shift: Monday thru Friday, 2:45 pm to 10:45 pm. *Saturday hours are generally 12:45 pm to 6:45 pm. Shift Differential of $1.00/hr. above the base rate
3rd Shift: Monday thru Friday, 10:45 pm to 6:45 am. *Saturday hours are generally 6:45 pm to 12:45 am or until Sanitation is complete. Please note we have a Monday night start for 3rd Shift. Availability of Saturday hours are dependent on production and staffing needs. Shift Differential of $1.50/hr. above the base rate
Skills

• Individual must be a self-starter, easily motivated and require limited or no supervision; able to develop necessary computer and laboratory skills
• Individual must have production experience and a knowledge of product lines at MCC
• Exhibit a strong example of Good Manufacturing Practices
• Applicant must possess good math, record keeping skills and legible handwriting
• A positive attitude and ability to work in a team concept is a must
• Must be dependable and have a certain degree of flexibility to work overtime, different shifts and Saturdays when needed
  

Position Requirements

• QA production line checks, weight control, verification of production orders, GMP's observations, gas flush, microbiological sampling, keeping quality samples, weekly production seal integrity checks, new product's evaluation, metal detector checks, perform environmental swabs and environmental air, SAP, understand and proper documentation of hold products, and Read and understand product specification standards
• Compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, SQF and established safety rules and regulations.
• Willing to assist in training for the position when needed
