Job summary

Home Chef is seeking a QA Technician to ensure product labeling, portioning and meal bagging meet recipe specifications and quality standards. The role involves on-the-line checks with production to verify accuracy and adherence to QA sheets, plus hourly inspections on portions and bag contents.

Responsibilities include signaling issues to FSQA leadership, maintaining GMP compliance, and supporting the shipping line inspections to guarantee product integrity and safety.

Responsibilities

• Core QC Functions including labeling, portioning, meal bagging and shipping line checks.
• Visual inspections for labeling accuracy (product name, ingredients, labels).
• Distribute QC samples to production and verify portion amounts per QA sheets.
• Verify meal bag line setup and ensure all ingredients and shelf life are correct.
• Sign off on production sheets and conduct hourly inspections of portions and bags.
• Escalate quality issues to FSQA leadership and maintain sanitation and GMP adherence.
