Job summary

Mativ is seeking a Quality Control Technician to document, train, plan and execute test activities across the production process. You will test and inspect products at various stages, compile data, and ensure products meet quality standards and reliability.

You will review schedules, communicate procedure changes, calibrate equipment, record data, and support continuous improvement initiatives while contributing to root cause investigations. The role requires 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of experience in Quality Control in manufacturing.
• Ability to use a computer and basic software.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Follow procedures, maintain accurate records.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts including overtime.

Responsibilities

• Review production schedules to plan QC lab work.
• Test and inspect products at various stages of production.
• Develop and implement test procedures and work instructions.
• Record data and apply statistical quality control.
• Calibrate equipment and prepare samples for tests.
• Communicate changes to procedures and address complaints.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and training programs.
• Prepare graphs or charts and generate QA reports.
