Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a quality control-focused tester for our New York facility. The role involves routine testing of raw materials, in-process components, and finished concrete products in an indoor/outdoor manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will perform compressive strength tests, inspections, and monitor production while reporting quality concerns to management. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and have basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Quality control experience in a related industry is required.
• ACI/NPCA certifications are preferred or must be able to pass ACI Concrete Field Testing within 3–6 months.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. periodically.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily compressive strength testing of hardened concrete specimens.
• Perform daily pre/post pour inspections on products.
• Monitor production operations as required.
• Report to management on process improvements, repetitive mistakes, and quality concerns.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis.
