Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, seeks a QC Technician to perform routine testing in an indoor/outdoor manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will conduct compressive strength tests on concrete specimens and support quality control.

This non-exempt role requires a high school diploma, QA experience, ACI/PCI certification preferred or may be earned within 3 months, basic computer skills, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Excellent teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Quality control experience in related industry preferred.
• ACI/PCI Certification preferred, or ability to pass ACI Concrete Field Testing within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily compressive strength testing of hardened concrete specimens.
• Perform daily pre/post pour inspections on products.
• Monitor production operations as required.
• Assist with strip, setup, and pouring of products.
• Report to management on process improvements, repetitive mistakes, and quality concerns.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
