Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, seeks a quality control technician to perform routine tests on raw materials, in-process components, and finished concrete products in an industrial indoor/outdoor setting.

You will conduct daily compressive strength tests, pre/post pour inspections, monitor production, assist with strip and pour operations, and report process improvements and quality concerns to the management team.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Quality control experience in a related industry preferred.
• ACI/PCI Certification preferred or ability to pass ACI Concrete Field Testing within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily compressive strength testing of hardened concrete specimens
• Perform daily pre/post pour inspections on products
• Monitor production operations as required
• Assist when necessary with strip, setup, and pouring of products
• Report to management team on process improvements, repetitive mistakes, and quality concerns
• Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
