Job summary

CRH's Oldcastle Infrastructure division seeks a dedicated quality control technician for an indoor/outdoor manufacturing environment in Jacksonville, FL. You will perform routine material and product tests, including compressive strength checks on concrete specimens, and participate in inspections throughout the production process.

Requirements include a high school diploma, quality control experience, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Quality control experience in related industry.
• ACI/PCI Certification or ability to pass within 3 months.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Spanish language ability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily compressive strength testing of hardened concrete specimens.
• Perform daily pre/post pour inspections on products.
• Monitor production operations as required.
• Fabricate Concrete Plastic Property Samples.
• Report to management on process improvements and quality concerns.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
