Job summary

Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials is seeking a Quality Control Technician for our Greenville, TX plant. You will ensure the quality of batching, mixing, and delivery of ready-mixed concrete, with travel to monitor quality standards and perform testing.

Responsibilities include QC testing, calibrating equipment, sampling raw materials, and communicating results to dispatch and customers. Strong communication and math skills required; high school diploma or GED needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of QC experience in construction, industrial, or manufacturing.
• Strong organizational and math skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform QC tests (air content, slump/workability, coarseness/sandiness, yield, set time, water-cement ratio, strength).
• Calibrate production and testing equipment.
• Sample and test raw materials for specification compliance.
• Record and communicate test results to dispatch, batch personnel, and customers.
• Troubleshoot fresh and hardened concrete to identify quality issues.
