Job summary

Ideal Ready Mix Co Inc is seeking a Quality Control Technician to help ensure our concrete products meet high standards. You will test concrete, monitor production quality, and develop mix designs while visiting job sites and collaborating with customers.

The role requires Iowa DOT Level II certification (or ability to obtain), a valid driver's license, and comfort with outdoor work and lifting up to 50 lbs. Nights/weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Iowa DOT Level II certification or ability to obtain is required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Comfortable working outdoors and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work some nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Test and sample concrete (air, slump, moisture, etc.).
• Monitor daily production for quality.
• Develop and adjust mix designs as needed.
• Visit job sites and collaborate with customers and teams.
• Maintain records and lab equipment.
