Job summary

Geoquest USA, Inc. in LaBelle, FL is seeking a Quality Control Technician for our precast facility. You will inspect, test, and ensure manufactured products meet quality standards, reporting to the Quality Control Supervisor.

The role requires hands-on concrete experience, knowledge of FDOT/NPCA requirements, ability to read casting drawings, and strong English communication. Light lifting and flexibility are expected as part of QA/QC duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience with concrete; precast preferred.
• ACI certifications listed are a plus (Field Technician 1, Aggregate Technician 1, Concrete Strength Testing Technician).
• Knowledge of FDOT and NPCA requirements for precast products to ensure compliance.
• Ability to read and interpret casting drawings and read tape measurements accurately.
• Clear communication of corrective actions; pass certification tests.
• Ability to work in varying weather and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Professional business-level English communication.

Responsibilities

• Test concrete samples to ensure compliance.
• Inspect measurements, steel checks, form alignment, concrete placement and post inspections.
• Monitor product strength and determine corrective actions.
• Inspect various FDOT precast products.
• Communicate findings with supervisor for corrections.
• Document measurements and verify calculations.
• Attend continuing education to maintain certifications.
• Ensure compliance with FDOT requirements; assist with other duties as assigned.
