Job summary

Gainey's Concrete Products is seeking a Quality Control Technician to support daily operations in the Quality Control department. The role focuses on inspecting concrete production, performing tests with precision equipment, and communicating findings to management and production staff.

Ideal candidates will have ACI certification and PQSI/PQSII QA/QC training plans, with a High School diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must be self-motivated with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Able to multi-task effectively in a production environment.
• Customer service mindset and team-oriented work style.
• Within the first 6 months obtain ACI level 1 Technician Certification; PQSI/PQSII training after probation.

Responsibilities

• Check, verify, and record concrete production to meet specs.
• Perform concrete testing using precision testing equipment.
• Communicate inspection findings to management and production teams.
• Maintain good attendance and reliability.
• Ensure PPE is used at all times and work areas stay clean.
• Support day-to-day operations within the Quality Control department.
