Job summary

Van Drunen Farms is seeking a Production Lead to guide a manufacturing team through all stages from processing to packaging. You will supervise daily activities, enforce safety protocols, and ensure high-quality output in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include overseeing drying, freezing, grinding, and boxing, while maintaining CCP checks, audits, and continuous improvement. The role offers growth, training, and a structured, collaborative workplace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years production experience; leadership experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Excel, ERP systems, email, and file management.
• Forklift experience preferred; forklift certification may be required with training provided.
• Strong math skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a production team; coordinate daily activities for safe, efficient, high-quality production.
• Oversee drying, freezing, wet and dry processing, sifting, grinding, boxing, and packaging.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, GMPs, SOPs, PPE, and LOTO standards.
• Monitor product quality; perform CCP checks, audits; address issues promptly.
• Coordinate equipment setup, sanitation, readiness, shifts, and cleaning tasks.
• Train and coach team members; assist onboarding; communicate updates and accountability.
