Job summary

Ditsch USA LLC in Cincinnati, Ohio, is seeking a Quality Control Technician (2nd Shift) to uphold high standards in our pretzel manufacturing processes. You will perform product and process testing, maintain GMP/HACCP compliance, and help ensure accurate documentation and labeling.

2nd shift runs 4:00pm-2:00am, Monday-Thursday with Fridays as needed. The role requires 1–3 years in quality within manufacturing and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years quality experience in manufacturing (food manufacturing preferred).
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• GMPs and HACCP knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform tests on finished products, raw materials, and related items.
• Conduct daily Food Safety & Quality Reviews and report issues to Supervisor.
• Monitor product weight, temperatures, packaging, and overall quality compliance.
• Review production documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Carry out physical testing including weight, color, strength, and packaging assessments.
• Support production lines and machinery.
• Investigate quality or food safety issues and assist with case audits.
• Ensure labeling meets customer and regulatory requirements and proper packaging used.
• Maintain accurate quality records and data entry.
• Assist in inspections of raw materials and finished products.
• Support calibration verification for measuring equipment.
