Job summary

Ditsch USA is seeking a Quality Control Technician for our Cincinnati production facility. You will perform tests on finished products and raw materials, monitor weight and temperatures, and ensure labeling and packaging meet customer and regulatory standards.

You will document findings, support calibration and GMP/HACCP programs, and educate team members on quality practices. This role offers a first shift 6am-4pm, with occasional Fridays and a pay range of $22-$24 per hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common industry, production and technical documents in English.
• Committed to upholding safety and quality standards in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in a quality control role within a manufacturing setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with GMPs, HACCP, and food safety regulations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform tests on finished products, raw materials, and other related items as required.
• Conduct daily Food Safety & Quality Reviews, noting any issues and communicating them to your Supervisor.
• Monitor product weight, temperatures, packaging, and more to ensure quality and compliance.
• Review production documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Carry out physical testing on products, including assessments of weight, color, strength, and packaging.
• Provide support to production lines and machinery.
• Investigate any quality or food safety issues and assist with case audits.
• Ensure all labeling meets customer and regulatory requirements and that correct packaging materials are used.
• Maintain accurate quality records and data entry.
• Assist in inspections of raw materials and finished products.
• Support the calibration verification program to ensure all measuring equipment is accurate.
• Educate and coach all employees on quality and food safety practices.
