Reporting to the Quality Engineering Manager, the Quality Control Technician is responsible for ensuring the integrity and compliance of incoming and outgoing materials and products within our manufacturing operations. Located on-site at our Wood Dale, IL facility, this role plays a key part in maintaining high standards of quality that meet internal, industry, and customer expectations.
Inspect and approve incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products.
Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) and perform Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities.
Utilize a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), micrometers, and other tools to verify product conformance.
Document inspection results, manage inspection logs, and escalate issues to internal teams.
Support quality audits in line with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Engineering, Procurement, and Manufacturing teams to address product and process concerns.
Associate degree in Quality or equivalent work experience; Technical degree preferred.
2–5 years of experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in using CMM, micrometers, calipers, and interpreting technical blueprints.
Knowledge of FAI, PPAP, and ISO 9001:2015 standards.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; Oracle experience is a plus.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $25.00 - $27.00 USD per hour.This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
