Job Description for Quality Control Technician

Cardinal Equipment Services remanufactures beverage dispensing equipment, including soda fountains, valves, bar guns, coffee brewers, and backroom equipment.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to achieve daily goals
• Operate handheld devices and PCs
• Review daily production schedules
• Complete QC assessments of Cold Drink Coolers following QC templates
• Troubleshoot and investigate quality issues
• Report unusual conditions to supervisors
• Assist in writing and reviewing SOPs
• Close out orders in the system
• Partner with production on training opportunities
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Minimum Requirements

• Follow all safety and security measures
• Be at least 18 years old
• Use PPE as required and comply with safety policies
• Maintain regular, prompt attendance
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Maintain a professional appearance within company guidelines
• Utilize company resources and technology effectively
• High school diploma or equivalent, or suitable experience
• Basic knowledge and ability to use hand tools
• Effective quality management and technical skills

Physical Requirements

• Repeated sitting, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 35 lbs.
• Bending, kneeling, squatting, grasping, reaching, fine manipulation, exposure to chemicals and noise
