Job Title: Quality Control Technician at WSB

Position Overview: We are seeking a professional CEI Inspector to join our highway team. You will work alongside technical experts, contribute to developing new techniques and standards, mentor early professionals, and assist resident engineers and project administrators in inspection tasks in line with project and client specifications.

Responsibilities:

1. Monitor on-site construction activities.
2. Inspect materials as per client specifications, transport samples for testing.
3. Maintain detailed records of operations and events.
4. Prepare daily inspection reports.
5. Monitor and inspect Work Zone Traffic Control.
6. Inspect contractor’s quality control procedures.
7. Perform material testing and verify procedures against plans.
8. Review testing procedures and results, measure material quantities.
9. Conduct sampling and in-place testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of CEI experience in roadway or bridge projects.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and pass background check.
• CTQP Certifications including Final Estimates Level I, Concrete Field Technician Level I, Concrete Field Inspector Level II (Bridges), Asphalt Roadway Level I & II, Earthwork Inspection Level I & II, Pile Driving Inspection, Drilled Shaft Inspection.
• Additional certifications for drilled shaft inspection, FDOT Intermediate MOT, IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector Level I, Nuclear Radiation Safety, Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control.
