Overview

At Materion, everyone is included, respected and offered opportunity to grow. Join us! We're seeking a Quality Control Technician to provide essential inspection, analysis, and support to our Quality Team. You'll play a vital role in achieving our quality objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute testing across the production cycle, performing work in process (WIP), final inspection, and detailed dimensional and non‑destructive testing (including dye penetrant). Maintain accurate records throughout.
• Prepare essential reports, generating reports for products and customers, and collaborating with staff as needed.
• Support source inspections, ensuring customer requirements are met during source inspections.
• Contribute to our Quality Management System (QMS), assisting with calibration, MRR, DMR, RMA processes, and more.

Qualifications

• High school completion required.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a technical or inspection role preferred (e.g., quality, engineering).
• Basic understanding of blueprint reading and use of basic hand tools (micrometers, indicators, etc.) required.
• ASQ certification (Certified Quality Technician or similar) or experience and knowledge of calibration, metrology, and quality system auditing preferred.
• Additional educational degree(s) preferred.

Export Compliance Eligibility

The selection of the person to be hired for this position is contingent on the candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology under ITAR and EAR.
