Description

The Quality Control Technician will be responsible for maintaining fuel farm/storage and related equipment. Responsibilities include testing and inspecting fuels and additive products, compiling and evaluating statistical data to ensure quality and reliability, and performing hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical maintenance of related equipment.

Compensation and Benefits

• $26.00/hour
• Additional $50.00 per week for Good Attendance

Key Responsibilities

• Consult with manufacturer or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards.
• Test fuel/additive products for various qualities.
• Record test data following statistical quality control procedures.
• Evaluate data and prepare reports.
• Conduct work safely and in an environmentally conscious manner.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 months related experience or training; or equivalent.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Valid US driver’s license.
• Pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Capable of lifting/moving 70 lbs.
• Flexible to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Able to work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Airport Badge.
• High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

Work involves exposure to moving mechanical parts, heights, fumes, airborne particles, weather, vibration, chemicals, and loud noise. Physical tasks include standing, walking, sitting, handling objects, reaching, climbing, lifting (up to 100 lbs), and shoveling.
