Job summary

ProMach is seeking a Quality Control Technician to perform a variety of quality control duties ensuring that manufactured sub-assemblies, parts, and assembled machines meet design specifications and requirements. This position reports to the Production Manager.

3–5 years of experience in quality inspection is preferred; strong reading of Cad drawings and gauge calibration knowledge are desired. Competitive pay and benefits accompany the role as part of Modern Packaging.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in quality inspection of manufactured parts.
• Knowledge of calibration of gauges and measurement equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret Cad drawings.

Responsibilities

• Measure incoming materials by confirming specifications and perform visual and measurement tests.
• Approve in-process production by confirming specifications and communicating adjustments to production supervisor.
• Approve returning internal and external products for re-work, confirming re-work.
• Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; input data into an MRP system.

Modern Packaging is seeking a Quality Control Technician to perform a variety of quality control duties to determine that manufactured sub-assemblies, manufactured parts, and assembled machines are built in accordance with company design specifications and requirements. This position reports to the Production Manager.

• Measures incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and contacting supplier regarding unacceptable materials.
• Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating any required adjustments to production supervisor.
• Approves returning internal and external products for re-work, confirming re-work.
• Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; and inputting data into an applicable MRP system.
• Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions, calling for repairs.
• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
• Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
• Knowledge of calibration of gauges and measurement equipment as required
• Strong ability to read and interpret Cad drawings.

Qualifications

3-5 years: Experience in Quality Inspection of manufactured parts.

Compensation Range: $22-28/hr
