Job summary

ProMach is seeking a motivated Receiving/Shipping Coordinator to help expedite and document the flow of incoming and outgoing shipments. You’ll join a process-oriented team focused on efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with safety processes and requirements.

You will pick and issue parts in the ERP system, prepare items for shipment, record shipping information, and operate equipment such as a forklift. A high school diploma and experience with shipping/receiving are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree.
• Previous shipping/receiving, purchasing, inventory experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions and information.
• Mathematical skills; ability to use a calculator.
• Experience with MS Office, Excel.
• Ability to obtain Forklift Certification.
• Ability to stand regularly and frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent communication skills with internal and external customers.
• Detail orientation and accuracy in records.
• Problem solving to meet shipping goals.
• Organizational skills and ability to juggle priorities.
• Team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Pick and issue parts in the ERP system.
• Prepare items for shipment, receive, and unpack materials and supplies.
• Accurately record shipping and receiving information.
• Ship products using FedEx Ship Manager, UPS Worldship, and on-line Freight Bills of Lading.
• Report damages and discrepancies for accounting and record-keeping.
• Provide inventory management support: part numbers, balances, reports, and cycle counts.
• Route items to appropriate individuals/departments.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Operate machinery such as forklift or pallet jack to move shipments.
• Maintain a safe work environment and promote quality mindset.
• Keep workshop organized and clean.
• Collaborate across departments and perform other responsibilities as assigned.

• Collaborate with other departments and perform other responsibilities as assigned.
