REQUIREMENTS

• TRANSMISSION REPAIR KNOWLEDGE IS A MUST (3+ yrs exp / Mechanic background preferred)
• Clean MVR (Required for road tests)
• Own Tools & Reliable Transportation

SCHEDULE & LOCATION

• Mon–Fri: 7am–6pm | Sat: 7am–2pm (Optional)
• Location: Beach Blvd – Jacksonville, FL

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Vehicle & Bench Quality Audits: Perform comprehensive end-of-line inspections on newly rebuilt, repaired, or remanufactured manual and automatic transmissions.
• Road & Performance Testing: Conduct rigorous test drives to assess shift points, torque converter engagement, shudder, vibration, and overall drivability.
• Leak & Torque Inspection: Execute pressurized leak checks (fluid lines, seals, gaskets, cooler lines) and verify critical bolt torque specifications across the assembly.
• Diagnostic & Scan Tool Analysis: Read and clear Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs), perform relearn procedures, and verify electronic control module functionality.
• Component Verification: Inspect valve bodies, solenoids, torque converters, linkage adjustments, and fluid levels prior to final sign-off.
• Troubleshooting & Technical Feedback: Identify root causes of quality discrepancies or performance defects and collaborate directly with transmission rebuilders and R&R technicians to correct issues prior to customer delivery.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate, detailed QC logs and sign off on completed inspection checklists for every vehicle/unit serviced.
