Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in medical technology, laboratory science, or a related field.
  • Associate degree in medical technology or a related field.
  • One year experience as an Analyst I, II or III strongly preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain quality control materials to monitor analytical test accuracy.
  • Open, blind and manage quality control materials and internal standards.
  • Prepare chemicals and reagents used in laboratory testing.
  • Develop and maintain systems for documenting quality control materials.
  • Assist in proficiency testing reporting and compliance audits.
  • Monitor and document maintenance of laboratory equipment.
  • Create and maintain records for QC materials and reagents.
  • Assist in inspection-ready lab design and investigation of QC issues.
  • All functions outlined in Analyst I.
