ADP, Inc. Quality Control QA Technician 1st shift is responsible for guaranteeing SAFE and HIGH-QUALITY products. This role performs hourly line inspections, calibrations, and basic lab tests while ensuring GMP compliance. You will communicate with QA leadership and line staff to maintain quality across shifts.

Strong math, organizational, and training abilities are required. Daily paperwork and cross-functional collaboration are essential to ensure product quality and regulatory adherence.

Responsibilities

  • Verify SAFE and HIGH-QUALITY product is produced.
  • Verify employees follow all plant GMPs.
  • Ensure product specifications are followed via hourly line inspections.
  • Complete all necessary daily paperwork.
  • Communicate with Quality Director, Food Safety Manager and QA Supervisor on line performance and out-of-spec products.
  • Communicate with line operators and supervisors on product quality.
  • Perform scale and probe calibrations daily.
  • Perform any required laboratory work (FFA, fat testing, etc.).
  • Pull micro samples per customer specifications.
  • Shipping/receiving inspections and releases.
  • Backup to this position is other QA techs or QA Supervisor.
