Job summary

Idaho Materials & Construction, a CRH Company, seeks a QC Technician to perform quality control tests on concrete and aggregate at the plant and in the lab, recording results and helping with service coordination. You will apply knowledge of gradations, specific gravities, moisture tests, air tests and casting concrete specimens.

The role requires strong communication, basic math/record-keeping skills, and the ability to read and follow instructions.

Qualifications

• Must have basic QC knowledge and the ability to perform essential quality tests.
• Experience with concrete/aggregate testing and record-keeping.
• Certification in ACI/WAQTC is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Test concrete and aggregate products for quality and conformance to specifications.
• Maintain basic material records and test results.
• Assist with service coordination and respond to quality issues.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, batch plant operations, drivers, and QC staff.
• Support flexible shift work including nights and weekends if needed.
