Job summary

Bal Seal Engineering seeks a QC Supervisor to oversee all quality inspection activity from Receiving Inspection to Shipping Audit and to support interdepartmental quality projects.

The role manages hourly quality personnel and serves as the main contact for questions and support within the Quality Assurance department, reporting to the QA Manager. A Bachelor's in Business, Management, or a STEM field is preferred, with at least five years in a quality role and leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a quality role.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, train, direct, coach, counsel, communicate to, monitor, appraise and manage personnel.
• Ensure compliance to all company‑wide and Quality Assurance‑specific procedures.
• Manage the MRB and Calibration processes.
• Coordinate with Production Control to assist in meeting Production goals and to ensure inspection is completed in a timely manner.
• Manage department to ensure inspection resources are properly allocated.
• Establish performance metrics for inspection personnel and evaluate them accordingly.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
