Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor in California to support and maintain Quality Systems programs, enforce SQF, QA, GMP, and Safety policies, and assist in HACCP programs and investigations. The role includes overseeing hold and release processes, auditing, and daily calibration tasks.

Ideal candidates will have a BS in Dairy or Food Science and leadership experience, with strong organizational and training abilities, ready to maintain high compliance and product safety

Qualifications

• BS degree in Dairy or Food Science or related field is required with leadership experience in a production environment.
• Knowledge of quality systems, SQF, GMP, and HACCP is essential.
• Strong communication, organizational, and training skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hold and release program for butter and powder products.
• Assist QA Manager with audits, inspections, and documentation reviews.
• Review microbiology results and investigate high counts with production management.
• Ensure SOPs for micro, chemical, and procedures are followed.
• Coordinate daily equipment calibrations and thermometer calibration schedules.
• Support master sanitation programs and CIP records and drive corrective actions.
