Corteva Agriscience is a leader in delivering novel and sustainable solutions for the future of agriculture. We are seeking a Seed Quality Testing Laboratory Supervisor at our Seed Quality Testing laboratory in Tipton, IN. The incumbent will work with laboratory manager to set testing operational targets, and appropriate necessary resources to meet target in safe, reliable, and efficient manner.

Responsibilities – What You Will Do

• Tactical execution of Corteva Quality strategy as assigned at Tipton SQT lab.
• Assist site leadership in site safety program.
• Define short to mid-term testing targets and make timely adjustment to meet overall business objectives.
• Hire, train, and develop contingent workforce and full-time employees, coordinate other testing resources to ensure reliability of testing operation.
• Develop, monitor assigned lab area safety and performance, and drive continuous improvements.
• Lead timely communication, investigation, escalation, and conclusions of concerns, issues related to quality, operation, personnel, and equipment.
  
  

Job Qualification

Education And Experience

• Minimum of a scientific, agricultural, or engineering bachelor’s degree or four-year degree with equivalent in biology, biotechnology, agronomy, engineering, or life science.
• 2+ years of experience in production operation.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems.
• Management of contingent workforce and developing talents.
• Strong analytical, communication, people skills.
