Role Description

The Quality Control Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Orange, TX. This position oversees daily quality control activities, including inspection of machined aerospace components, review of test and measurement data, and verification that products meet internal standards and customer specifications. The supervisor coordinates and prioritizes work for quality technicians, ensures proper use and calibration of inspection and laboratory equipment, and maintains accurate quality records and reports. The role involves investigating nonconformances, implementing corrective and preventive actions, collaborating with production, engineering, and quality assurance teams, and supporting audits and continuous improvement initiatives. The Quality Control Supervisor is expected to promote a safety-conscious, quality-focused culture and provide clear guidance and feedback to team members.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Quality Control and Quality Assurance skills, including experience with inspection methods, documentation, and compliance with aerospace or precision manufacturing standards.
• Candidates should possess solid Supervisory Skills, with proven ability to lead teams, assign work, coach staff, and support performance and development in a production or quality environment.
• Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills, including the ability to interpret technical drawings, tolerances, and data from measurement systems to identify trends and issues.
• Candidates should possess relevant Laboratory Skills, such as proficiency with testing equipment, calibration procedures, and maintaining traceable records for quality data.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include experience in aerospace or tight-tolerance machining, familiarity with ISO or AS quality standards, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• An associate or bachelor’s degree in a technical field (such as engineering, materials science, or quality management) or equivalent experience in quality supervision within manufacturing is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Orange, TX, collaborate effectively across departments, and use common office and quality software tools (e.g., MS Office, quality management systems, PC DMIS) is required.
